Norton Country Club Darts Team make it hat trick of defeats as they succumb 5-3 defeat to Norton Oaks 'A'

The Team 1001 went the way of Norton Oaks after they nearly let slip a 200 lead only to finally hit their double as NCC approached a check out.

With only 6 available players, all got to play in the singles matches which again were all closely fought out. Danny won his game with both Stu and Jamie both getting multiple darts at double to win their games but unfortunately failed, meaning the score was 3 - 1 and NCC were up against it. Paul R won to bring it back to 3-2 but the final game went the way of the home side meaning Norton Oaks went into the doubles 4-2.

The opening doubles game saw Stu and Adam come up against an average of over 80 which meant the score quickly went to 5-2 before the NCC took the final doubles to finish the night 5-3, with a great double check by Jamie, who nearly grabbed the headlines in beating NOCC star player Doogie in the singles.

Next week NCC host Water Tower B in what is being billed as a relegation battle decided. With both teams stand on 3 games 3 losses this will be make or break for NCC as they look to secure their first win. Having played this team in two preseason friendlies and comfortably winning both NCCDT will be hot favourite.
