Norton Country Club Darts team played their first competitive away game on Thursday against the Sheaf House PH.
Going into the game with a high level of confidence Norton Country Club took the team 1001 game to open the evening in style making that P2 W1, L1 in that league.
Unfortunately the singles games didn't follow suit and despite being ahead and throwing at doubles in 3 of the first 4 games all ended in defeat leaving NCC 4 - 0 down. The last 2 single games were shared 1 - 1 meaning the singles finished 5 - 1 in favour of the home side. The two doubles were also shared 1 - 1 leaving a final score of 6 - 2, with NCC being defeated for a second week.
Doubles proved to be the biggest issue of the night and with another tough fixture against top 6 team Norton Oaks A Team next week improvements are needed.
