Job Description:
Norton House Country Club is in search of part-time Bar Staff. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service, possess high energy levels, and thrive in a collaborative team environment. The position primarily involves weekend shifts, with flexible hours to accommodate various schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.
Cash Handling: Handle cash, process payments, and maintain accurate cash registers.
Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware.
Compliance: Adhere to all relevant alcohol service laws and regulations, ensuring responsible service of alcohol.
Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth bar operations during busy periods.
Knowledge: Stay updated on the menu, special promotions, and any changes in alcohol laws or policies.
Safety: Follow health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for both customers and colleagues.
Problem Solving: Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary.
Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed

Key Criteria:
Applicants must be aged 18 or over and allowed to work in the UK.
Experience: Previous experience in a bar or similar customer service role is preferred.
Customer-Focused: Demonstrated dedication to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work primarily on weekends and accommodate a flexible work schedule.
Professionalism: Mature and responsible demeanour, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
Knowledge of Alcohol Laws: Familiarity with local alcohol service laws and regulations is a plus.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items, such as kegs and cases of beverages.
Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail in drink preparation, cash handling, and cleanliness.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle customer issues or complaints effectively and with patience.
